BLUES International Event

The aim of this event was to meet, learn, share and network with professionals from the academic, business and entrepreneurial worlds. To discover an innovative, blended-learning approach to teach entrepreneurship skills to university students from all backgrounds.

Active agents of change, shaping the future of a richer,

more professional job market and enhancing our youth’s  employability.

BLUES Programme successfully proved that a better connection between educational institutions and businesses and entrepreneurs enrich both of them reciprocally, and we made an open invitation for stakeholders to join us in November 2019 and get involved in improving what was already a win-win picture.

Santander, 25-26 November 2019

What did we offer to participants in the BLUES event?

We at BLUES have designed an international event for you that focuses on the education and business sectors joining forces in the promotion of entrepreneurial skills demanded by the current and future professional job market. So, we strongly believed that for the participants it would be a very interesting experience for theirselves but also for their environment. They would be able not only to learn about useful skills, the importance of innovation and agile methodologies, or new european frameworks like the ENTRECOMP, but to network and meet european experts and entrepreneurs that may become their future partners

If they were an university teacher, they would be able to help their students to be better prepared for their professional future

If they were a PHD or Erasmus student, they would incorporate innovation and creativity into their daily work and maximise their skills

If they were a Secondary education teacher, they would be able to teach their students how to visualise their potential

If they were an entrepreneur or a business manager they would share and receive knowledge and explore new possibilites

In the BLUES International Event, participants learned about an innovative open source teaching methodology, with online and face-to-face materials, tested with success in four European universities. They were able to know how to incorporate innovation and creativity to their skills and activities; widen their mind as they stretch their professional network; learn about ENTRECOMP, the European frame for entrepreneurial skills and education; get in touch with education centres that are talent incubators and promote employability…
